Exciting News!

We are now live with our fashionable NotePads. However, unlike our garments, these will only go live once a month. The focus will be to pick one of my illustrations for the month's collection and make it your go to stationery for that month. You can now count on Soane Saldana to provide you with all your chicest stationery needs, whether it is to run your daily home errands, school, business, or work. Adding some color and fashion to your daily to-dos, will give you the motivation you need to knock them down. Our collection will be endless made with new designs for all our chic clients (yourself included).

Gingham was originally developed in India and Indonesia becoming noticeably popular during the 17th century when it began to be imported into America and Europe. When we hear Gingham, we all think "checker patterns" however, the Gingham fabric was originally known to be striped. Throughout the years Gingham has only won more and more popularity. This fabric grew to be one of the most common and recognizable fabrics in the world. This type of fabric is seen everywhere from tablecloths, aprons, and summer clothes. In the 20th century Gingham became very well known due to a traditional red and white or light blue and white scheme because of the movie, "The Wizard of Oz". Since then many other famous people have worn it from Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe and Brigitte Bardot.

We chose to work with Gingham because it fits very well in the landscape of our Summer Collection. The fabric we chose to work with is lightweight and very comfortable to wear whether it's 70 or even 100 degrees out. Our Gingham fabric does not have stretch and it is not meant to be tight to the body. In the summer time it is always best to have a blouse to wear which is breathable. The colors we chose vary from Royal blue, Navy, Green and red which all will add a bold touch to a look that you can nearly take anywhere.

Our garments are made of 60% Polyester and 40% Gingham. We have tested our garment's fabric and when washing the color does not vanish, you may wash it with similar colors. Please wash your garments with cold or warm water only. Do not machine dry your garment as this is a delicate fabric. And remember to never bleach any of Soane Saldana garments.

Now that you know a little more of what you will be wearing, go ahead and enjoy our second garment known as the Chloe blouse which is now available online.

Model is 5'5" and is wearing an XS Alejandra Blouse

Soane Saldana LLC

First of all, welcome. I hope you all have as much fun as I will on this blog and online boutique. The structure of our online boutique is very different than many other boutiques because our whole collection will not be released with just one click. What does this mean? This means only one garment from our seasonal collection will be displayed today and then every other Saturday. Our commitment to you is to release a new garment, stationery, or accessory every Saturday going forward. Every garment is limited. Limited? That's right, this means that your garment is unique and only 5 other ladies in the United States will own it, since only one garment is available per size. Grab your garments as soon as they are released and show up anywhere without worrying if someone else will be wearing the same exact garment, what a relief huh?

This idea has been a long time coming and I am super excited to share it with you. Today, we will start our inauguration for the Summer with our Gingham Collection. For the month of June we will present 5 different Gingham Blouses that hopefully become your go to garment for this summer because not only are they classy but are lightweight. Next week's blog will consist of why Soane Saldana LLC chose Gingham and everything you need to know so your garment stays in good condition for many years to come.

Without further ado, I present to you Soane Saldana LLC.
